RudduR Dance

RudduR Dance is a contemporary dance company founded in 2015 based in New York City, NY. RudduR Dance is committed to bettering the world with dance. Our mission is to use contemporary ballet and theatricality to create performances reflective of society. RudduR Dance investigates themes of the human condition and emphasizes that which unites us. The Company seeks to increase awareness and appreciation for American dance and culture by presenting original works both nationally and internationally and strives to provide access to dance in society broadly, and African diaspora communities particularly.

New World School of the Arts, Alumni Foundation

The New World School of the Arts Alumni Foundation exists for the benefit of all alumni from the NWSA High School and College. Donations fund Inspiration Grants, alumni-focused events, general operating expenses, and other opportunities to help support alumni in maximizing their talents and opportunities. The Foundation is run by alumni, for alumni, and all donations to the Foundation are held and managed by fiscal agent Miami Dance Futures Inc., an organization established and run by Daniel Lewis, the founding dean of the NWSA Dance Department.

Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler

https://www.fdeo.org/events , The Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler since its inception in 2011, has quickly become a staple of the Miami arts calendar, a highly anticipated event bringing together the best of Miami’s dance community on one stage. Eight dance organizations and artists with a minimum of a three-year record producing professional work in the area, are invited to participate in three performances at the New World School of the Arts Dance Theatre and the Duncan Theatre cross-pollinating audiences, exchanging ideas, collaborating and contributing to the growth of the dance community in strength, diversity and artistry.

A collaboration of Miami Dance Futures, New World School of the Arts, Dance Now Miami, The Florida Dance Education Organization and the Duncan theater.

“This showcase is a rare opportunity to get a glimpse of what the year of dance in Florida has to offer”. Says Hannah Baumgaten of Dance Now Miami. “All of these groups will have performances throughout the year. This is not just a festival, it is truly a season preview. And it should not be missed.”
